Alphacam post processor1/30/2023 ![]() ![]() So we head on down to the CNC and for some reason unknown to us, all the parts my partner had done sit at a 45° angle from the part I had done. ![]() We both finish our work and after merging the 2 files together, the simulation shows no red areas, no erros of any kind and the end result looked just like we wanted. Someone on my team was in the meanwhile doing the same and we would then merge the 2 files together to have all the parts together again. It imported without any troubles and I optimized the lay out with the 'nesting' tool (I use it in Dutch, so I don't know if Nesting is the same in English) anyway, I started adding tool paths/tracks to all the parts that needed to be cut out of the wood. So, I needed to make a staircase on 1/2 scale in AutoCAD, run it through Alphacam to get it ready for the CNC and then offcourse make it.Īfter I had drawn it out in CAD, I copied all the parts and put them on an imaginary sheet that I would then use to import it into Alphacam. ![]() I am having a very specific problem but I really hope somebody can help me, i'll add some screenshots so you know what i'm talking about ![]()
